For the Fighting Game April Jam 2026 I took the role of lead artist for the project "Maxi Mecha Modders," a traditional 2D fighting game where players brawl in big, bulky mechs!
During gameplay, the mechs are highly customizable, allowing players to freely swap, replace and upgrade a mech's body parts for a couture moveset. For example, you could replace your hand with a cannon, turning you from a melee to a ranged fighter.
This project was a great learning opportunity, plus I got to work with some fascinating creatives. :) I will never forget the euphoria of seeing these drawings be rigged, animated and brought to life.

Maxi Mecha Modders was unfortunately not completed or released for public download. Still, I hold it in high regard.
